From Bad to Worse": Finn screams out "Oh My Glob!" after the Candy Zombies attack him." Mortal Recoil": Jake is shown saying, "Oh my Gob, oh my Gob, oh my Gob!" after he's frightened by the Lich in Princess Bubblegum's body." Trouble in Lumpy Space": Lumpy Space Princess is known for frequently shouting the phrase, "Oh my Glob!" She first does so when Melissa reminds her about the weekly Promcoming Dance.Glob, Gob, and Grod were mentioned in episodes before the full nature of "Grob Gob Glob Grod" was revealed: They also banished the space deity Orgalorg to Earth, after he tried to absorb the power of a Catalyst Comet. His reasoning on why they can see Finn may be related to why they are worshipped in Ooo and why they are seen as God. Grob Gob and Grod is also seen to smile at Finn's question so Glob could mean all four of them can see Finn because of who they are. In " Astral Plane", Glob says he can see Finn because "I am Glob" and also mentions that Gob says "Oh my Glob".
The four are often evoked as religious entities in the Land of Ooo, as Jake is shown to believe in " Glob World," and Finn in " No One Can Hear You" speculates Candy Kingdom people worship Glob in church. They are the older brothers of King Man and first appeared in " Sons of Mars." In " Astral Plane," they sacrificed their lives to save Mars from a "comet" ( Martin's spaceship), but in " Normal Man" it was revealed that they survived the impact and their heads are currently orbiting the Earth. Overall "Goliad" receives a 7.Miguel Ferrer (Grod) Grob Gob Glob Grod is a four faced deity from Mars. I also remember the first time watching this I had Jake's exact same thought "eww gross, just put the eye back in"! I like the dialogue and loved the plot line of "Goliad". The big fluffy pink cat, that also happens to be stuck in a psychic battle with Stormo at the moment, had a really adorable character introduction! I remember watching this episode for the first time and just thinking how smart PB really is, she made a pink cat out of soup, for god sakes! This episode also touched on how DNA can be synthesis, which I found enjoyable seeing how a human boy could be related to a big, fluffy white cat.
Is PB going to live forever? Finn has a half-son? In this episode Candy babies are put to the test and strained under Goliad's leadership, will they make it out alive?!?įor starters the Adventure Time "Goliad" is such an original idea, that it can only be classified as an AT episode. "Goliad" is the tenth episode in the fourth season of Adventure Time.
